The ultimate key to spiritual growth is spending time alone with God. This means taking the time to speak with God about whatever is on your heart and, even more importantly, allowing Him to speak to you.
The most intimate communication is to pray to the only true and living Savior, Jesus Christ. We are wise if we choose to spend time alone with God in prayer—in a place without distractions or interruptions. This is a period suitable for us to relax completely and focus our attention fully upon the Father and His Word.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tracy Jackson, Lead Servant
Tracy Jackson’s devotional writings are personal sermon notes, reflections from her daily quiet time of Bible reading, prayers, and journal entries. She is blessed to have a supportive husband, Larry Jackson. As well, Tracy enjoys her role of motherhood and is blessed to have four children; Tyler, Joshua, Ezekiel and Ashley.
Tracy resides in Kansas City, Missouri and is a member of Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ- where she serves as the Prayer Director. As a servant of Jesus Christ, Tracy is devoted to serving her church and community. In addition to faithfully serving in her local church, she also has a personal “Power of Prayer” Ministry. She sponsors a complimentary Prayer Breakfast Experience once a year—via personal invitation in which attendees come at no cost. The gathering is non-denominational; her mission is centered on uniting believers to stand in the gap for one another in prayer, thanksgiving and exhortation to the wounded.
Her Kingdom purpose is Christ focused/centered, and her life’s mission is to be a servant of Jesus Christ.
